| This charming and luxurious multilevel house is ideal for a multi - family getaway. Just 3 minute leisurely walk to the best beach on the island of Hilton Head (beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes are readily available), this magnificent property boasts an outsized back yard with “screened in” gazebo, lagoon with private dock (rent a canoe and explore the island), new pool with hot tub and contemporary gas grill. There are two large master bedroom / bathroom suites, each with its own Jacuzzi. Two additional roomy bedrooms (each with multiple beds), as well as another two bathrooms, will provide 8 – 12 vacationers with comfortable accommodations, within this spacious dwelling.
Other amenities include a large living room with fireplace, satellite TV with multiple TV’s and VCR’s, a fully equipped kitchen (including all essential utensils), a den and sun room - either of which, with their day and sofa beds, could double for additional sleeping space. You will also find a complete laundry facility and two car garage.
If you’ve not experienced Hilton Head before, please understand that you’ll be staying in Palmetto Dunes, a magnificent “gated community” (they call it a “Plantation” down here) on Hilton Head Island, which very specifically caters to the needs of vacationers. In fact, Travel and Leisure Family’s Reader's Poll (Winter 2003 / 2004)lists Palmetto Dunes as the #1 family resort in the continental U.S.
Within the confines of this exclusive community, there are three “world class” golf courses and a fabulous tennis facility, not to mention that your house is an easy stroll from the beach. Palmetto Dunes Plantation also offers the full amenities of two world class hotels – the newly renovated Marriott Beach and Golf Resort, as well as the Hilton Beachfront Hotel. If you care to drive up to 20 minutes (leave the gates of Palmetto Dunes Plantation and explore the rest of Hilton Head), “the sky’s the limit”.
